These terms apply to work carried out by J&L Gas & Renewables Limited, Banner House, 29 Byron Road, Harrow, HA1 1JR (Gas Safe registration 961481).
Quotes and prices
- Landlord Gas Safety Certificate (CP12): £75.
- Boiler service: from £100.
- Combined gas certificate and boiler service: from £150.
- Boiler installations and other work are priced individually by written quote.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is usually required on boiler installations exceeding £2,000. Payment is by bank transfer on invoice; confirm the payment schedule when agreeing your quote.
Payment
Payment is by bank transfer on invoice.
Warranties and guarantees
- New boilers can carry manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years, subject to the manufacturer's terms (including annual servicing).
- Copper pipework we install carries a 10-year guarantee.
- If an issue arises with our installation, contact us and we will rectify it.
Safety
If we find an appliance that is unsafe, we will follow Gas Safe procedures, which may include making it safe or disconnecting it with your permission.
Insurance
We hold £10,000,000 public liability insurance.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Cancellation rights for distance and off-premises contracts are governed by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to applicable exceptions.
